Child abuse case heads to court
Charges against a couple accused of child abuse were held for court yesterday. Jennifer DeSalvo and Harry Lyons Jr. remain free on a 25000 bond each. Lyons is charged with aggravated and simple assault harassment recklessly endangering another and endangering the welfare of a child. District Judge Jennifer Nicholson accepted the assistant district attorney’s argument based on testimony from Dr Kavitha Conti of Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh via telephone.
