Restaurant owner shoots robbery suspect in Mahoningtown
An 18 year old North Beaver Township youth, Terry Ketler, was shot in the arm during an alleged armed robbery at Rosina's Restaurant in Mahoningtown. Ketler, of AD 7, was arraigned in hospital on armed robbery charges. He is in satisfactory condition at St. Francis Hospital. The owner Frank DeMarco Sr. said he fired at a car as Ketler and another youth attempted to flee. The incident began when DeMarco noticed a masked pair in front of the restaurant and confronted them. Ketler claimed DeMarco grabbed his gun and that he heard a shot before feeling his arm go numb. Ketler’s car was later located near 703 N Cedar St. Ketler remained under guard at the hospital.
