Gold Stolen From Dentist Office In Pearson Building
W. L. Beal’s dental office on the third floor was robbed sometime Saturday night or Sunday. Between 46 and 59 dollars in gold plus gold leaf and older dental gold were taken. The intruder forced the night lock with a knife, ransacked the office, and removed a safe drawer later found on the second floor. No tools or identifiable clues left behind. Continued on Page Two.

Runaway Horses End Near Highland Avenue Wagon Wheel Tearing Incident
Abe Spiker of Neshannock township narrowly escaped injury as his horses bolted on Highland Avenue while pulling a wood wagon. The animals veered into a ditch and tore off a wheel near William Orr’s residence, dragging the wagon several hundred yards before being stopped. The incident occurred around 11 o'clock on a return from town.

Man Killed by Engine Near Rock Point
Mike Facco a cement works laborer at Wampum died from injuries after being struck by a light engine on the Pennsylvania railroad near Rock Point Saturday afternoon.
