Dixville Notch New Hampshire, with 19 registered voters, went to the polls at 12 01 a m and backed President Nixon 16 to 3 over George S McGovern. One voter abstained. The hamlet has voted this way since 1960. The town moderator led a countdown as ballots were cast.
City police say a six youth burglary ring involved in at least three armed robberies, two failed robberies and one burglary. One suspect faces armed robbery and burglary charges. four juveniles aged 14 to 17 are slated for petitions. A second youth, 19, awaits detainer on theft charges.
