City's new buses begin regular runs today in New Castle
Six of eight new city buses start regular runs across all routes as Joseph Anmond of the New Castle Area Transit Authority notes. Twin Coach buses were handed over by Highway Products Co. yesterday. two buses await registration plates. Total cost $192,006 with a federal grant of 3110,200 and state and city shares. Doctors killed in Morgantown plane crash near airport
Three Pennsylvania physicians Dr. Gordon Jones 35 from Waynesburg Dr. Joseph Butterbaugh 27 and Dr. R Harry Chazel 28 of Carnegie died when a single engine Beechcraft Bonanza crashed during an attempted landing at Morgantown Municipal Airport. The doctors had just attended a Mayo Clinic conference in Rochester Minnesota and were returning home. The crash occurred in marginal weather after the plane struck trees and tumbled into a hollow along Route 119 north of Morgantown.
