Volant Men Injured In Runaway After Hallowe'en Parade
Two Volant businessmen, John Graham and Charles Carr, were badly hurt when a buggy cross-bar broke near Volant and the horse ran away. Both men were thrown, treated by Dr Crimm, and later sent home. Graham suffered a six inch head cut and other bruises. Carr was badly cut and bruised. The horse returned home.
