A bungalow on Cascade Street owned by David W. Hoover and insured by Pennsylvania Engineering Co burned Sunday afternoon after a fire started likely from an oil stove in the kitchen. The home and its contents suffered about 1,900 in losses with 1,500 building value and 400 furniture losses. no insurance on the dwelling. Mrs Hoover briefly left home. neighbors alerted firefighters from Ray Street at 3 18. The interior was fully ablaze upon arrival.

She led listeners past Chateau Thierry and Chalon sur Marne.

William Peters of Edenburg and F E Wheeler of Louis Mills Street Lacretlee Cycle proprietor were seriously injured Saturday about 4 pm returning from Eastbrook rifle range. Peters suffered a broken right arm and severe leg wounds. Wheeler had a torn left leg and multiple cuts. They were brought to this city after the crash.
A car wreck near Greensburg yesterday killed 35 year old Wright and 4 year old Charlie Mae. The automobile struck a telegraph pole, ending two lives and prompting investigations into the accident.
