Five Americans kidnapped by brigands in Durango and nearby areas remain unaccounted for. Briggs and Greely, drilling workers for Aguila Co., were seized on Wednesday. a 20,000 pesos ransom was demanded for J. W. Shanklin of Petero Sugar Co., who was warned would be shot if not paid.
