Boy on Bicycle Killed by Train at Crossing
Willian George Pyle a 12 year old son of Mr and Mrs S W Pyle of New Galiter was killed at a Pennsylvania crossing at 4 30 this morn on a bicycle. He failed to clear the track as a train approached and died instantly. Survived by his parents one brother Chester and one sister Jean funeral at 2 30 p m Sunny with interment at Union cemetery.

Auto Plunges Off Road Into Hickory Creek
STATE POLICE ARE CALLED TO SCENE. Charles Stoltz of Millvale drove toward Willow Grove bridge over Hickory Creek when he failed to negotiate the curve and the car with seven or eight occupants plunged down an eight to ten foot embankment. The occupants escaped serious injury. Police rounded up Stoltz and three companions and he accused Cd. BE. Sullivan of reckless driving, claiming a second car blocked the turn.

A Hudson speedster with Pennsylvania plates 299,609, found abandoned near Youngstown, is now at the city patrol barn after a Thursday ride by Lt Henry Dysart. Mayor Barnes and Police Chief Elder led officers to gather details as crowds gathered.
