A community Memorial Service at Mt. Jackson Beloel Auditorium features Bethel Westfield and Moravia United Presbyterian churches. Rev. Lloyd A Dalbey delivers the memorial message It Takes More Than Horses To Win A War. Mt Jackson Church Choir, directed by David Kees, performs. American Legion participates with honors. Bible School for preschoolers in the adjoining elementary building. junior high hosts the service.

Firemen Ladies Memorial Day Picnic Planned in Mt. Dickson

Beaver Township Volunteer Firemen and Auxiliary announce an eight table picnic on Memorial Day at Winger Hall Mt Dickson with families as guests. Auxiliary will provide refreshments and oversee serving at 4 pm. After dinner the auxiliary will hold the June business meeting. The women of the Firemen will meet in Winger Hall on Thursday per schedule.
