Capt Charles Kingsford Smith will pilot with T P Ulm as co pilot Two Americas Harry W Lyon Jr and James Warner will join as navigator and radio operator The route aims Honolulu Kahului Suva Fiji then Brisbane Australia with a three stop air journey next Thursday from Oakland airport.
Washington May 25 The Federal Trade Commission issued a complaint citation against the Radio Corporation of America charging unfair competition and restraint of trade. The action stems from the radio trust inquiry, with RCA given thirty days to answer. The commission condemned RCA contracts that forced manufacturers to use RCA tubes as an unfair practice and trade restraint.

State department officials fear Congress will not enact the 275 million naval building bill as the session ends. Passage would bolster U S influence at future naval limitatio ns talks, reflecting Kellogg policy goals. The bill, approved by the House and endorsed by the Senate naval committee, would fund 18 cruisers and one aircraft carrier.
Sharon May 25. Frank W. Fobes, 70, a prominent Kingman Ohio jeweler, was instantly killed last night when his car collided with a Lake Shore train at Williamsfield. The inquest and details were pending as authorities investigated the fatal accident.
Train No 36 striking a trailer of a truck near a ditch caused the engine to overturn. Five of seven sleeper cars on the all Pollmar train were overturned. The disaster occurred while lawmakers returning from the Indiana Republican convention faced a fatal incident with no passenger casualties reported.
Dighton May 25 officials report the Lamar Colorado bank gang shot before noon today and are surrounded near the Smoky Hill river several miles northwest of Dighton. A posse of about 200 men with two dirigibles overhead located the bandits and imminent capture was expected.

In Pittsburgh on May 85 John A Bell the convicted Carnegie banker plans to attend the funeral of his wife Mathilda Foster Bell who died of pneumonia at their Denniston Avenue home. Bell who remains in hospital after related charges may be joined by his brother in law Atco Joan Robb and County Jay Warden conn McNeil if a court order is granted, though officials call the move a formality.
Bridgeport police custody case ends with Edith Cromwell seeking relief as her husband Edward Cromwell, 40, promises to stop bearing more children.
