Holy Spirit Parish will maintain three open churches St. Vitus St. Camillus and St. Mary for Masses despite Bishop Zubik approving 100 percent capacity Diocese of Pittsburgh begin Memorial Day weekend. Murder case rocks Croton Avenue neighborhood
New Castle police found 81 year old Margret Kahrer and John Micco dead in their homes and Kevin Ross wounded by gunfire. Louis Vincent Esposito, 59, accused killer and son of Kahrer, was arrested after a late evening shooting spree on Dewey Avenue. In court he pleaded fear and claimed others would kill him if jailed while expressing a wish for his mother’s funeral with a gold vault.

Suspect Arrested in Double Homicide at Dewey Avenue
Louis Vincent Esposito, of 1010 Dewey Avenue, was arrested for the Wednesday killings of his 81-year-old mother Margret Kahrer and 78-year-old landlord John Micco and for injuring neighbor Kevin Ross. A prior April 11 gunfire call nearby had not led to charges. arrest details say Esposito allegedly fired from his home, prompting a found .357 revolver and witness account. An autopsy is pending. Ross is hospitalized.
