William Morehead White 83, longtime New Castle resident and former head of the White and McKinney wholesale notions firm, died at Jameson Memorial Hospital after a monthlong illness. Born in Pittsburgh, he moved to New Castle with cousin Robert A. McKinney and helped build the firm later known as New Castle Notion Co.
