Doctors struggle to save firework church blast victims
Mexican doctors fought to save severely burned victims after a church explosion set off by 35 pounds of fireworks. City to get $156 750 to improve sewers
The city has won a federal grant of 156 750 to rehabilitate West Side sanitary sewers in a demonstration project. The grant covers 75 percent of costs with about 92 000 funded by a 1980 bond issue. The work uses chemical grouting to seal cracks and will guide future citywide sewer improvements.

Officials will not be held in contempt in jail case
