Services Today For Late Officer Tyrrell of New Castle
New Castle paid tribute to William E. Tyrrell of 9 Atlantic Avenue a respected city police officer who died of a heart attack on duty last Saturday. A high mass at St Joseph church drew a full house with Rev Fr Joseph A Doerr presiding who praised Tyrrell as a family man and God fearing officer. Tyrrell lay in state at his home before burial at St Marys cemetery amid a profusion of flowers.
