Three people treated after weekend mishaps in Pa and Ohio

Ronald Micaletti, 19, of 1916 Hamilton St was treated for face scrapes and released after his car hit a guard rail and caught fire near Gibsonia Pennsylvania. Vincent Busico of Pulaski Road 1 suffered head and leg pain in a two car collision on U S 422 in Coitsville Ohio. Busico and passenger Larry Biase were treated at Jameson Memorial Hospital and released. County Commissioners will act on a $10000 CHARGE Inc request at tomorrow's meeting, as county solicitor ruled funds cannot be allocated by law. CHARGE seeks $17000 from county city and Ellwood City to boost its budget. federal grant of $43000 has been awarded to the agency.

Hearing set on ordinance by township planning panel

The Neshannock Township Planning and Zoning Commission will continue a hearing on the proposed zoning ordinance at 7:30 p.m. May 13. The hearing had been set for April 10 but was moved to allow more time to revise the ordinance. Copies will be on display at the township municipal building April 28 and may be examined during business hours until the hearing.

A cigarette caused a fire that burned a car owned by H. W. Clark of 2816 Graceland Rd on N. Mill St at about 4 40 p m yesterday, causing about 100 dollars in damage, according to city fireman report.

General Willard G. Wyman Dies at 71

Retired four star Army General Willard G. Wyman died March 29 at Walter Reed Army Hospital at age 71. He served under Eisenhower in Normandy and held commands in World War II, Korea, and both world wars. Survived by wife Ethel, son Willard G. Wyman Jr., and daughters Mrs. Eugene T. Pinney of Berne Switzerland and Mrs. Nancy Geiger of Atlanta.

License deadline extended in Harrisburg for 1969 registrations

Tardy motorists have until midnight Thursday to obtain 1969 motor vehicle registration stickers. The three day extension was announced by state revenue Secretary Warner M. Depuy because post offices were closed today for Dwight D. Eisenhower. Affected are passenger cars, suburbans, station wagons, motorcycles, tractors and dealer registrations.
