Diocese reshaping St. Margaret area parishes under plan
In the Diocese of Pittsburgh 40 parishes will reorganize into 19 in the second phase of the Parish Reorganization and Revitalization Project. St. Margaret in New Castle area will close while SS. Philip & James, St. Michael, Holy Cross and St. Lucy form St. Vincent de Paul with six weekend masses. Mary, Mother of Hope will serve as a new parish with two worship sites and five weekend masses. New parishes take effect May 29 with priest assignments May 24.
