CAT Fund like auto coverage offered to motorists
Insurance Commissioner Constance Foster said she authorized about 200 auto insurers to offer CAT Fund like coverage to drivers as the CAT Fund nears expiration in 52 weeks. The plan sets rates of 52 dollars a year for single vehicle policies and 50 dollars per car on multi vehicle plans, covering medical bills beyond 100000 up to 1.1 million.
