In Mt Washington suburb near Pittsburgh, 50 year old Frank P. Walker was fatally shot during a barroom robbery by three gunmen. Proprieter James Varone and four patrons were ordered to strip. Walker was killed as he stumbled near the cash register. Police were alerted by Varone who fled into the streets.
