James Robert Madison, 34, of 7 E Euclid Ave, was arrested at 5 15 a m and charged with the murder of Robert Butera. The victim’s burned body was found in a Hillsville quarry car identified as Butera’s. Madison pleaded not guilty and was jailed without bond. Coroner Cyril Wecht confirmed the identity and police said the two knew each other.
