Morehead Denies Henderson Charge In Railroad Case

An answer filed Monday afternoon to the equity bill by George W. Henderson against the Buffalo Rochester and Pittsburg Railway company and T. F. Morehead contends no fraud occurred in the land deed. It asserts the deed describes exactly the agreed land about 1.36 acres paid at $450, with stakes placed by railway engineers, not Morehead, and notes a blue print was shown to Henderson. The suit also mentions a lack of running a switch to a sand bank and that the deed was read to Henderson. Morehead’s denial aims to refute all fraud or deception claims.
