Erie Man Is Shot To Death In Domestic Tragedy
Erie, March 15 A house keeper returning after three weeks away found her employer John E. Hogan 42 congressional district organizer for the Townsend plan with a guest Lucille F. Irwin 42 a divorcee. Hogan was shot twice in the chest after he ordered the house keeper out. The house keeper Elizabeth Sample 45 is held for first degree murder. Hogan told police on his deathbed that he diverted a shot meant for Mrs. Irwin.
