Accidents In City Injure 3 Persons

Three people were injured in separate city incidents yesterday with two hospitalized in good condition. Phyllis Chirk, 5M Reynolds St, was struck by a small truck at Grimes Street and Long Avenue. Tuno Filegei, 29, of Wallace Avenues, suffered a collision and is reported in good condition at Jameson Memorial Hospital. Joseph Kavalick, 46, of Movaula Street, received head and facial injuries, treated and discharged after his car skidded on Atlantic Avenue. Police said a girl ran into the truck driven by Oscar Withrow, who transported her to a hospital with forehead and hand abrasions. Pileggi’s car struck a tree after colliding with a parked car, injuring Pileggi’s right wrist and jaw.

Lawrence County Criminal Court wrapped up the term as Percy Reams of Vine Street was found innocent of a drunken driving charge. Judge John F.
