South Side plans 82-bed facility with aided care unit
Allied Personal Care Inc seeks to build an 82 bed personal care facility on Redevelopment Authority land at the corner of Long Avenue and South Jefferson Street next to Plaza South. The plan was received by City Council and referred to the Planning Commission. The two acre vacant commercial site sits near the corner and with Atlas Gas purchase the city expects annual savings of 4 000 to 5 000 dollars. The council also awarded Reliable Lumber 6 310 dollars to furnish a golf cart storage shed at Sylvan Heights Golf Course.
