Wilmington Area Board agrees to take over bleacher payments
The Wilmington Area School Board will cover the last two bleacher payments totaling 1800 for the high school football field. the purchase was made by the Athletic Association for 3317 last year. Timely payments are 300 due this month and 1500 due in March 1965. The board authorized 4000 to buy Lester Treese property in Pulaski for a new elementary school. They will repair a cafeteria roof at about 450 and grant pay raises of 100 to the assistant varsity football coach and the cheerleading adviser, with salaries of 250 each. An additional assistant football coach may be hired at 230 if a suitable teacher is found, and a fourth person will be added to assist in the recreation program.
