Truck With Dynamite Plunges Down Mountain Kill One Injures One
In Mt Pleasant Pennsylvania a trailer truck carrying 10 tons of dynamite lost control on a three mile grade near Laurelville and plunged 75 feet off the mountain. Lawrence Ewan 38 of Mt Royal New Jersey was killed. Kenneth Baldwin of Wenonah New Jersey, a truck helper, was hospitalized with injuries not yet determined. Police said the dynamite did not explode.
