City councilors indicated they will bond the city for an additional 100000 this spring to fund paving repaving resurfacing street widening and sewer projects. The city already has about 960000 bonded and the solicitor was asked to prepare the ordinance for consideration at the next council session.

Water Company Starts Building New Mains In Sheep Hill

The Water Company begins laying about one and a half miles of pipes in the Sheep Hill district to supply roughly 80 families on Northview Southview Moravia Martha and Byers avenues and parts of Good and Beaver streets. The project costs about 12000 dollars and should take six weeks to complete with many local workers. High pressure mains will be extended from the Morris street district due to elevation.
