Reenactors open Gettysburg anniversary events
Gettysburg marks 150 years since the Civil War battle with a dawn musket volley and large scale reenactments on a private farm outside the battlefield. About 200000 visitors are expected over ten days as the Blue-Gray Alliance and other groups stage living histories, hospital displays, and the first day's actions with thousands of reenactors led by Lt Gen Jubal Early's portrayal by Michael Sipes of Hanover.
