The United States comptroller of currency approved a plan to form a new national bank in New Wilmington replacing the First National Bank of New Wilmington. Depositors would receive 50 percent of unsecured deposits, and the bank will assume secured deposits. The new bank will buy assets from the old bank, use existing facilities, and stockholders face no double assessment under the 1933 act. Continued on page two.
