County planner decision expected this week
The county commissioners will decide Friday on a recommendation from the county planning commission to hire a full time county planner. A special session tomorrow noon at Popn's will hear a three man committee report on an applicant from Erie. The committee may recommend hiring but one member declined to say. The hire could come in about a month as the candidate needs to give notice. The planner is certified by the state and the search has been difficult. The move would help recertify the commission with HUD. The current eye fact notes the weight of the human eye about a quarter ounce.
