Identity theft case targets homeless man in Pittsburgh fraud
Neshannock Township police charge 23 year old Tyaire Daivon Jenkins, formerly of North Versailles, with eight counts of access device and eight counts of identity theft plus two counts each of criminal use of a communications facility and unlawful use of a password. A warrant is issued for his arrest as investigators trace fraudulent charges to First National Bank accounts, motel rooms at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh, and transportation fares in the city. The motel manager says several males used the victim’s credit card number with one name Ty Jenkins. The license lists North Versailles as Jenkins’s residence, though the address is vacant, and police matched the photo to a description from the hotel.
