Torn Down At Germantown Home Of Charlie Ross Kidnapping
The decaying Germantown house linked to the famous 1874 Charlie Ross kidnapping is set for demolition. Once a Sunday school and chapel site, it sits near East Washington Lane as Cliveden Presbyterian Church expands. The landmark’s removal closes a grim chapter in local memory, with the Rosa case recalled as a defining tragedy of American crime history.
