Rebuilding of Life ministry aids inmates with mail visits
Mitchell runs a faith based outreach from home sending birthday cards and prayer letters to state inmates found via an inmate locator. He mails 300 to 400 letters, adds prayers and church invites, conducts weekly email blessings, and hosts Friday Bible study in a Lawrence County jail. He funds his work through a July 4 fireworks fundraiser, aiming to raise 3000 to 4000 a year to cover supplies and Bibles.

Iacocca urges rapid repayment by GM and Chrysler
Former Chrysler chief executive Lee Iacocca urges GM and Chrysler to end government involvement quickly. He cites his 1980s payoff of Chrysler’s loan in three years and says bureaucracy from oversight hurts. He backs Fiat’s Chrysler rescue and notes Ford’s stable leadership. He would invest again in Chrysler and Ford, but doubts GM’s survival given size and problems.
