Family ties cross oceans via Internet genealogy finds
In North Olmsted a writer traces his ancestor James Shearman Anthony, a farmer and Bapt ist who settled Ohio, then follows a modern quest linking two families through email and the Internet. He meets fourth cousin Mike Anthony in Oregon as they connect descendants of Manuel Antonio across Rhode Island, Hispaniola, and South Carolina, illustrating how online records unite long‑lost relatives while preserving graveyard visits and church archives as essential sources.
