Teen arrested after demanding car keys
A 17-year-old New Castle resident entered a Lightner Place home at 4 a.m. Saturday and demanded the keys to a vehicle in the driveway. He fled after being told to leave, was later found on Mercer Road, and jailed at Krause Shelter on burglary, robbery, criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night, and public drunkenness charges.

Teen to Face Juvenile Petition After Firearm Found
A 17 year old was taken into custody by Neshannock Township Officers at 2 p.m. on June 12 after his mother reported he threatened self harm and possessed a handgun. Police found a modified shotgun near the front door and learned the handgun was stolen. The teen was taken to Jameson Hospital for a mental health evaluation. A juvenile petition was filed for possession of a firearm by a minor receiving stolen property disorderly conduct and possession of a prohibited offensive weapon.
