Ellwood OKs budget and two-mill tax hike details
Ellwood City Area School Board approved a 1998 99 budget clarifying the two mill tax increase is not funding the stadium. About 1 million of a 9 million bond was earmarked for stadium work but overruns on other projects used the funds. The athletic complex will be paid from capital reserve funds, with the 1998 99 general fund budget up 520 359 over last year and no stadium funding included.
