Local Fishermen Report Fair Catches in Nearby Streams
Local fishermen say they have had fairly good success this season as many fish have been placed in nearby streams. Neshannock and Shawan streams show good catches though Shawan has seen many fish die from acids. Connoquenessing still holds bass and perch but numbers decline yearly due to oil well salt water influx. Slippery Nock Creek offers good fishing with abundant game fish while Muddy Creek contains pools home to many beauties.
