Defense witnesses from Denver and Cripple Creek will discuss mine owners’ tactics against Western Federation members. Orchard to resume testimony tomorrow to allow impeachment and re direct by the state.
W H S Thompson of Pittsburg a leading Allegheny county bar association member has been secured as one of two speakers for the Fourth of July celebration in the city. Rev J H Hutchman committee chair has received Thompson's acceptance with another speaker yet to be decided. Walton Park is the likely celebration site.

The Scioto street residence of Theodore Ogetea hosted a Saturday night booze party that ended with police action at 1 am. The proprietor and 14 inmates were arrested. Ogetea fined $10 and each guest $5, adding $80 to the city treasury.
F. J. Rawle, a Baltimore and Ohio railroad man, will leave here in a week to visit the family of his deceased brother William in Denver. William died in Denver three weeks ago. The brother left New Castile about 20 years ago at age 21. Rawle will stay in Denver two weeks. His home is 105 East County Lime Street.
