Hofmeister’s estranged wife Elizabeth Holmeister was questioned. Bauer and Holmeister reportedly left a wedding reception and the incident arose as Hofmeister confronted his wife. Three Injured As Rim Blows Off Tire
Three men were injured at Pentizoi Tire Store 117 East Falls Street shortly before 3 o clock Thursday afternoon when a rim on a large truck tire exploded. Injured are Hugh F Stewart 25 owner of the store with a left wrist fracture Loyal Tanner 24 with right ankle and eye injuries and Rhyne Fabian 25 with back injuries. Rim blew out as they bent over the tire under heavy pressure. They were taken to Jameson Memorial Hospital for treatment.
