Newlyweds Ride Fire Truck To Reception After Bus Fire
AVON Conn AP A NYC couple Maria Leonardi and Justin Stone married on Saturday. Firefighters from Avon Volunteer Fire Department offered a 15 minute ride on a red fire engine from West Avon Congregational Church to Leonardi's father's home for their reception after a trolley bus fire briefly disrupted plans. The bus had contained the small blaze before the responders arrived. The couple hoped for a bus ride. the firefighters provided a memorable gift. The wedding party later traveled by other means to the reception and the couple planned a Napa Valley honeymoon.
