Beaver Valley Youth Gather At Spring Presbyterian Meeting

Beaver Valley Youth assembled at Highland U P church for a spring convention of the United Presbyterian young people of Beaver Valley presbytery. Starry Myers presided in the afternoon, Dr. Lee Walker spoke on youth work, Miss Marcia Nord welcomed guests, Glenn McCracken accompanied, Ed C. Book led singing, and soloist Mr. Husk performed. Judges named for Bible reading. awards given for achievement, publicity and attendance.

Man Stabbed On Mahoning Avenue In New Castle

Paul Welling, 56, of Mahoning Avenue, was stabbed in the chest and is being treated at New Castle Hospital. Police arrested William Cook, 49, of Preston Avenue, on the charge of felonious assault and battery. he is held on city bail as Captain W G McAullen files charges today. Officers note a list of perennials and plant varieties mentioned by Miss Eileen McFale among district business discussions.

Spiritual life secretary leads Allegheny event at banquet
