3 World Trade Center opens after long delay in NYC
An 80 story office tower at the World Trade Center, designed by Richard Rogers, is set to open this week marking the third completed skyscraper at the site. The $2.7 billion building stands 1,079 feet with a 62 foot lobby facing the National September 11 Museum and includes outdoor terraces on floors 17 60 and 76. Anchor tenant 3M is preparing offices amid exposed ceilings, and a unique 10 000 pane glass exterior reduces stress. Street artists created murals in nearby 4 World Trade and the top floors are leased by Spotify, highlighting the campus evolving from construction site to living office complex.
