Mahoning Township advertisers seek applicants for a park and pool director role at $25 per day. The Fridays Saturdays and Sundays post may include other days with duties overseeing pool operations pavilion rentals and general park tasks. Applications are to be filed at Route 224 during weekday day hours.
Pulaski Township supervisors hired David McConahy as a full time general maintenance worker retroactive to Monday after advertising the position. They announced copies of the new zoning ordinance at the municipal building for 15 dollars and that zoning maps are being printed for completion in a few weeks. They authorized the wage tax collector to turn over all unpaid wage taxes for this year to District Justice James B. Reed and adopted a resolution setting fees for preliminary and final inspections for road bonding.
The Lawrence County Fair runs August 17 to 22 and features a landscape contest to beautify Livestock Alley and econ displays. Entries must be non permanent, 20 by 10 feet, judged August 17 after noon, with signs 12 square feet max, walls required, and a $25 entry fee.
