Westminster college commencement set for Tuesday afternoon in New Wilmington. Dean Holmes of State College will deliver the commencement address to a class of about 40 graduates. Many are listed as serving in the nation’s service. The ceremonies will mark Westminster’s annual graduation.
Westminster College trustees conferred degrees on graduates and issued honorary degrees to several clergymen and scholars. Recipients include Master of Arts for Prof. Will Stewart of Slippery Rock and Doctor of Divinity for Rev. W. H. McPeake of Bradstock. Also honored were Rev. B. E. Orr of Deaver, Rev. Homer H. Wallace of New York City, Rev. T. J. Ferguson of Mechanicsburg, and May R. E. Martin of Beaver Falls, president of Geneva College.

Mrs Matilda Foradora of 629 Hamilton Avenue Farrell disappeared from her home last Thursday afternoon and was found Saturday near New Wilmington Junction. She was brought to New Case Hospital and later returned home. The family was notified. This was the second disappearance within a year.
