Or I'll Dress You in Mourning biography of El Cordobes
A condensed look at Manuel Benitez known as El Cordobes, once a beggar and thief who rose to wealth as Spain’s leading matador. The book by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre traces his rise from poverty to fame and the authors’ gathering of material in Spain and Latin America. Angelita, his sister, reflects on the cost of his dangerous career and the hope that mourning for him will be long delayed.
