Two Car Loads Of Cantalopes Arrive In New Castle
Two carloads of cantalopes arrived in New Castle on Wednesday. The arrivals are expected to lower cantaloupe prices considerably over the next few days. Watermelons, arriving Saturday, were all from the wholesale house this morning. Local dealers anticipate a new, larger shipment. Strawberries are scarce as southern berries finish and frost damages home grown crops. A few home grown berries remain, with lemons remaining near forty eight.
