Charles J. Johnson 52 died at home 543 Moravia street after a two day illness from appendicitis. Born in Sweden he came to the United States 26 years ago and lived in the Fifth ward. He worked at the tin mill and is survived by his wife Charlotte A. a son Arthur and two daughters Mrs A V Howell and Adelaide. He was a Lutheran and a Maccabee. Funeral at the family home Wednesday at 2 30 p m with interment at Oak Park.
