Kansas man returns $1 million lottery ticket to winner
Kal Patel of Salina says he has no regrets about giving up the prize after returning the ticket left on a Pit Stop counter. The anonymous $1 million winner bought three tickets in Lincoln and checked at the Salina store. Kal tracked him down, returned the winning ticket, and says the deed restored faith in humanity. A Wichita law firm later rewarded Kal with a $1,200 check for his good deed.
