Edicule restoration at Holy Sepulchre aims for unity amid repair
The tomb near Jesus’s crucifixion in the Holy Sepulchre is undergoing a eight to 12 month renovation costing about 3.3 million dollars funded by the three churches and a donation from Jordan’s King Abdullah. The plan replaces mortars strengthens columns and protects the shrine while pilgrim access continues. The project follows historic disputes and unity moments among Roman Catholics Greek Orthodox and Armenian communities overseen by the National Technical University of Athens.

No charges for boy's mother in gorilla case
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced no child endangerment charges against the boy's mother after a 3 year old climbed over a barrier at the zoo, fell 15 feet, and a gorilla was killed. He defended the mother as attentive and noted the family had four children with them. The decision drew online criticism but was supported by legal experts who doubted charges were warranted.
