Corrections from Local State and Obituary Notice
The first battalion 229th field artillery of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard was misidentified in yesterdays edition. The unit fired salutes at the D-Day anniversary in Kennedy Square. Emily L. Stunkard of Herrick Street is listed with the wrong first name for James Stunkard of New Castle, one of her three surviving sons. Marshall Ruscetti Joe Joseph Jean Allen and Betty Horchler tied for second at the New Castle Bridge Club meeting. This correction clarifies those errors and provides a contact for reporting corrections.
